Could you please tell me where I can find sales reps? Do they have a sales rep association?

You can investigate online resources such as GreatRep, which brings together vendors, buyers and sales representatives.

(Note: I have not used the services of GreatRep and am not endorsing them; please do you own due diligence and research before signing up for anything!)

You can also check in the classified sections of magazines that serve the wholesale jewelry, fashion, handcrafts, and gift trade (such as Niche, Ornament, CraftsReport, etc.). Often you'll find ads that can provide good leads.

Also, if you know any shop owners who do wholesale buying, ask if they know any good sales reps they could recommend to you.

You can also ask any non-competing professional artisans you know if they can recommend a good rep.

Also, visit the Switchboards Forum - there are lots of jewelry designers and other creative artisans there working at a professional level. By searching the forum and then asking a question, you may be able to find what you're looking for.

Finding Sales Reps

I would recommend interviewing several sales reps before choosing one. It's best to find one whose personality and approach to marketing your jewelry you can deal well with.

You're trusting this person with an important part of your jewelry business growth, so you want to be sure you've got someone you will have a good relationship with.

I am Looking for experienced, established independent sales representatives with existing territory in the USA to promote and sell our jewelry line. Our company carries 925 sterling silver and semi precious jewelry. We would work on a commission based agreement.

Do you know how can I get some data base or some information without using the companies that charge money for that purpose?
