When to send invitations.

Hi Rena,
I love your website! Always so interesting. I have a question about a jewelry party I am planning in November.

I have lovely cards with a picture of one of my bracelets on the front and party details on the inside. When should these be sent out? My hostess thinks the sooner the better but I was thinking 2 or 3 weeks ahead. Your opinion?

Save the date

I think it is just like any other party. Send them out too early and people put them aside thinking they have time to RSVP. Then they forget. I think you could send out save the date cards and then follow up with the actual invitation three to two weeks before.
