What are the little twisty things called that are used to attach jewelry to cards?

by Kelly Harris

Kind of a dumb question, but I need to know what people use to secure their necklaces to cards?

I have seen little pieces of white wire used to keep necklaces and bracelets in place and I wondered if people just used jewelry wire, or a specific item made for this purpose?

Thanks a million.

They are called ...

"twist ties". :o)

Jewelry twist ties are available from most jewelry packaging suppliers, and usually come in a choice of black or white.

The length is usually either 1.5" or 2".

These twist ties work really well for securing jewelry to cards.

If you want to secure your jewelry to display pads or tray inserts, you may want to use elastic barbs or display pins.

I've been looking for these small twist ties but can't find a supplier. May I ask who you use? Thank you!

Rio Grande has them - go to riogrande.com and use the search box at the top of their site to type in:

twist tie

. . . and it should be one of the first search results there. It looks like they carry them in your choice of black or white.
