Teacher Who Loves to Buy Jewelry Online

by Mrs. Gardner
(Eden Prairie, MN)

I work a long, hard day as a teacher, and when I finally leave school at the end of the day, the only place I want to go is home - where I can put on my bathrobe and slippers, and do any shopping I need to do online!

So yes, I'm a frequent customer of jewelry artists' Internet sites.

I love to wear unusual jewelry, one-of-a-kind items, especially earrings. The Internet enables me to find artists and enjoy their products that I'd never have the time to discover otherwise.

I love to support artists by buying directly from them online, which is probably where they have the least overhead expenses and therefore receive the highest return for their lovely creations.

It's a genuine pick-me-up when my handmade jewelry order arrives, and I have a snazzy new accessory to wear to school the next day!

I always get lots of compliments on my fabulous collection of art earrings.

Thank you for supporting small artists! As a single-person jewelry making business, I can speak for everyone in my position and say that we all appreciate that you are helping the handmade market. With each person that makes conscious purchases like yourself, you are helping to make sure that individuals get a chance to sell high quality jewelry and make a living, rather than supporting mass produced, slave labor factories in other countries.
Thank You!

Thank you for your support!! I have been designing and creating unusual pieces of art ever since I can remember. Jewelry has been my passion for awhile now. Just starting out on the online selling network, and the competition is BOOMING! Their are so many tallented artists out their who deserve all the credit they can get. Satisfying my customers is something I pride myself on, just by making sure EVERYTHING is exactly what my customer needs and expects out of a new online business. Yah to another teacher!
by: Dawn

I teach middle years art and recently went part-time in order to pursue my own art - http://www.sunshineindustries.ca. I do photography, acrylic painting and - you guessed it - artisan jewelry. I appreciate one-of-a-kind handcrafted items as well. I often find myself trading my jewelry for pottery or weaving while at craft shows selling... : )

Thank you for supporting independent artisans.

Dear Mrs. Gardner,
Thanks for inspiration. I'm so happy that there are artistic minded ladies like you who can appreciate designer's creativity, natural beauty of material and dare to ware unique pieces. Being surrounded by kids all the day at work you should be resourceful. What a great way to surprise them and yourself with a nice jewelry made with care and YOU in mind. It's so special. Thanks for support. I definitely will consider to design more stylish earrings from now on to complement my pendants collection.

Best wishes

From One Teacher To Another
by: Linda Landig

I started out collecting unique jewelry, especially earrings, just like you do. My principal used to call me the earring queen. Well one thing led to another and I began designing jewelry and eventually selling it on line at Linda Landig Contemporary Artisan Jewelry. I'm still teaching, but I'll retire at the end of this year, and just think how much time I'll have then to design jewelry! Who knows where your love of quality, artisan jewelry might lead you! On behalf of all artisan jewelers: Thank you for valuing our work!

Teachers are the unsung heros!
by: Joy

My daughter, a HS counselor (with a Masters Degree and making under $35,000 a year), wears most of the creations I have made. Everyone is noticing and commenting at school and she is so proud of me. Now I have been encouraged to start a business, though I have never sold anything before. I would welcome selling online for many of the hard working teachers in mind! My hubby is a teacher, too, and I am very proud of him!

Thanks for the support!

I love when people buy my jewelry online! It makes me so motivated to create more pieces and keep my business going! Thank you everybody for supporting!
