Success Secret

how to accelerate your path to
jewelry business success

Many people hesitate in doing something they want to do because "It isn't finished yet!" or "It's not perfect!"

My response is: "You don't have to get it right. You just have to get it going."

Reread and think about that for a minute.

I am encouraging others to take action immediately, even though they KNOW that they don't have everything done the "right" way.

I talk to so many people who wish to sell jewelry, or they email me with questions on how to succeed, or want to have a website - and years later, still don't have a website, or haven't even done a craft fair or walked into a consignment shop with their jewelry.

In many cases, these people are paralyzed because they know their jewelry could be better, so they are afraid to run what they have ready now. Or maybe they know what they want on their website, but they don't know about how to do the the tech stuff.

Or they aren't satisfied with the web copy or the packaging.

Here's what I've learned. Yes. It can always be better. I've been working on my website now for over three years and I know it could still be better. But you know what? When I look back to late 2002 and what my eBook looked like then, I'm amazed at how much it has changed. But the fact is, people bought it back then, and for less money than I charge now.

It wasn't perfect. It still isn't perfect. But I keep working on it and making it better. In the meantime, people have been using my tips and techniques for over three years.

What if I had waited until it was "just right"? How much money would I have lost? What about the people who bought my eBook and have been helped by the information in it . . . where would they be right now?

More importantly, how much money are *you* losing right now? Do you have a project that is almost finished, but you haven't put it on eBay yet? Do you have an idea on where to sell your jewelry but have been paralyzed and frozen stiff like ice afraid to move forward?

Do you leave the house without wearing one of your creations? Why not?

Are you letting that last bit of "it's not finished yet" get in the way of your road to success?

"You don't have to get it right. You just have to get it going."

Whatever you are doing will never be perfect. But it may very well be good enough to create some extra revenue right now. And then you simply work on improving it. Success comes through your failures.

Believe me, it is much easier to improve something that is already going, even if it is not 100% perfect. You can step out of your comfort zone and improve your chances of succeeding!

Just put one foot in front of the other and get going!
