Social commerce: example of Kaboodle's hot picks

Social commerce: example of Kaboodle's hot picks

Social shopping is an offshoot from social media, that allows consumers to write product reviews, share experiences, create wish lists, and announce sales and product releases to their friends, all in an effort to find the best deals, the latest style, and the highest quality.

If your jewelry has not made it on a site like kaboodle yet, make it happen!

Sign up yourself, and start developing a group of friends that you can share your jewelry items with.

Products featured on social shopping sites like Kaboodle have a higher potential of being purchased because friends trust each other, and love buying based off actual consumer reviews and recommendations.

Wow! Great article Rena! You deliver the most in-depth explanation I have read yet. I love the possibilities of Social commerce...Its like going to the mall with friends, but never leaving the comfort of your home :)

Thanks, Rachel! I know that a lot of the people who shop or "window shop" on social commerce sites are quite addicted to them, and spend lots of time developing their pick lists and creating item groupings like the Polyvore collages. They really enjoy the shared shopping experience with other like-minded friends!
