Retirement Was Never So Much Fun!

Zig Zag Swarovski Crystal Laureate Necklace

After over 20 years in the Retail Human Resources I never thought that after retirement I would be able to turn my hobby into a business.

With more time on my hands, I designed and created more jewelry and I decided it was time for serious marketing.

Not being sure where to sell my product I hired a friend who had experience in marketing to guide me through the non-fun money part of the business.

Now I can proudly say that not only have I sold at major events, I have pieces placed on consignment at various businesses and even tourist gift shops - plus I have been a guest speaker at career events.

Now my artist-designed unique pieces are slowly spreading throughout my region and I am known as an artist and designer.

I really enjoy creating special designs for Brides to proudly wear on their special day.

Beautiful work

Deborah,

I had a peek at your jewelry, and I'm not surprised at your success! Your designs are lovely.

Hiring a an experienced friend to help with your marketing seems to have been a good decision - it sounds like you're rocking and rolling now!

It's wonderful to hear of your success doing something you enjoy, now that your "working for other people" days are past!

Beautiful!

I love your necklace and earring set. I'm wondering if you mean "lariat" not "laureate" in the title. It is a lariat style, but also poetic enough to be a laureate!

Beautiful Work, But..........

I too, am retired and loving my jewelry making. You stuff is dropdead beautiful. The two of you should be proud of yourselves.
Your jewelry has professional written all over it!
Keep up the good work
