This necklace is made of leather, fruit seed called açai, from Amazonas and wax cord
Hi. My name is Laudélia Rivas and I´m from Brazil. I've been working with beads for about 12 years. I'm a retired teacher and my husband Hildemar too.
We both love working with art. He is a very good sculptor who works with wood. About 2 years ago we started to work together making jewelry using local material such as goat leather, fruit seed from Amazonas, fabric, wood from this region where we live (the semiarid of the Northeast of Brazil) and our pieces have been shown in specific magazines, TV shows and craft shows.
It all began as a hobby an now we have a quiosque in a Mall downtown. I loved Rena's tips and all sites she shows.
I forgot to tell I'm 70 and my husband is 73, and we are always looking for something new and different to create. If you look into Google with my name you'll see some sites with my works.
