Pam Older Designs New Bridal Collection

by Pam Older

Well like everyone we are thinking of how to beat the recession.

Brides will always need flattering jewelry and so I created a new bridal collection.

Instead of pink topaz I used recession friendly pink quartz - no one can tell the difference!

Here is a piece that I love in pink quartz and pearl and silver.

What a good idea - people won't stop getting married just because of the economy!

I visited your site, Pam, and am so impressed! Your site and your jewelry are lovely.

Thanks for sharing your bridal collection!

I want to know how to get my jewelry on celebrities and in magazines!!! any tips?
I see it is some what connected to your other profession is that the key?
I love the loopy amethyst necklace. Your jewelry is the kind I would buy for myself-dainty and light but bold and colorful. I love it!!

Thanks Janine. The best tip I can give you is to never give up. Cultivate media contacts online and in print. Network and have good scans or photos to send all over! I am far from a celebrity- still working very hard to sell to good stores. I love what I do. Good luck!

Fueled my fire.....

I happened upon your site through a piece I read on More.com. I love jewelry and have been wanting to make it to sell for a while, slowly gathering supplies & beads & books for the past I don't know how many months. I am now gung ho on the idea because of your site and have already made a few pieces for friends & family. Thanks for fueling my fire.

Welcome, Debbie!

So glad to hear you're following your passion!

I think most jewelry artists who go into business start out by creating pieces for friends and family, who are thrilled - and it just snowballs from there! :o)

It's a delightful addiction, and even better when people want to buy what you make and adorn themselves with your art.
