Fresh water and dangle eights faceted glass

Hi, I have made jewelry off and on for many years and now I have a jewelry shop in Massachusetts.

Here is a Fresh Water Pearl and faceted glass necklace and earring set on a sterling silver clasp.

I was in a different mood one day when I made this.

It sold almost instantly. The gentleman who bought it for his wife made me promise to not duplicate it.

Your necklace is indeed lovely and quite original. I find it so hard to sink into that not-mental place where unique designs come from. When I'm in there, trying oh-so-hard, nothing much ever happens. And I'm also dealing with the desire to be true to "myself" - making my own designs - and constructing something I know will sell. Or I THINK may sell. LOL

Again, nice job on the necklace and an inspired combination of stones and pearls. Guess you were "in the zone."

I so understand how overthinking rarely leads to great jewelry designs! I find the same thing.

But when I can "let go" and just let the design and components flow, I'm always happiest with the results. It's not always easy to get into that mindframe and state of relaxed creativity, though. But it's wonderful when it all comes together that way!
