When I started my seaglass and wire crochet jewelry business (Lucky Sea Glass^TM ), I enjoyed beachcombing for the seaglass alone or with my husband and creating the lovely jewelry by myself.

It was, and still is, fun and exciting for me to be independent and free to create whatever I want.

But, there are so many wonderful and interesting ideas that I may never have considered if I had not joined an online network of seaglass artists and collectors.

Through this site, I have developed skills or enhanced some of my abilities in making my jewelry, and also I have learned more about seaglass and have met people online who share my passion for collecting seaglass!

Thanks to one of the people in the network, who wrote a book about seaglass from Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, California, one of my jewelry designs is featured in her book.

From several others in the network, I have enhanced my ability to drill seaglass, and therefore add to my design options.

Still others have helped me discover places to search for seaglass during my travels.

The network is a support and educational tool, much as Rena’s website gives advice and ideas to those of us starting home jewelry businesses.
