My New Ways of Selling Jewelry

My first daughter have Down Syndrome and when she was born, I decided to quit working in order to attend her.

I have two more children and it was very difficult to work out of house and to attend to the children and my home.

I have always been an 'artist' and I can do many things with my hands (I have studied design).

I start doing jewelry 6 years ago, and I used to sell to galleries and shops.

Due to the crisis in Spain, sales have stopped and as I am always looking for new ways of going out forward, I started to investigate Etsy.com.

In Spain, as a small country, too many people still do not buy online. I found that in the USA almost everyone buys online.

So these two things plus my life attending my children, make me choose to set up two shops on Etsy - one with glass pendants with high quality images, and the other is with my jewelry.

I am a bit nervous to see what happens, but I am very excited and spend lots of hours setting up the shops.

I hope you like them.

Rena, thank you for your fantastics webs.

Way to go, Isabela!

Thank you for your kind words, Isabela!

I too became self employed because I needed to be a stay-home mom for a child with health issues.

I'm glad to see you've got your stuff out there online, and it looks like you're making some sales!

Keep up the good work. :o)

Hi Isabela, Love your work, very pretty. I have three shops on etsy, and been there 2 years. Love it! Hang in, and remember....list,renew,and relist! three most important things for etsy success. Also heart every shop you can in your spare time, a good 1/4 of my buisness is other shop owners. Besides make your avatar seen every where! I wish you much luck!
