Choosing a Successful
Jewelry Workshop Project

What jewelry workshop project should you teach to your students? First, consider your own specialty, and what it is about jewelry that you have a passion for. What are you most knowledgeable about?

Then consider your likely participants . . .what are their probable skills and interests? What do they most likely wear? What’s currently a popular jewelry trend? How much can they likely afford to spend on this workshop? Are you going to tie the jewelry workshop project into teaching the group about something?

IMPORTANT: Teach only your own original designs. Never teach someone else’s jewelry design unless you have their express, written permission. Otherwise you are violating their copyright and are vulnerable to a lawsuit by them!
