When asked to do a review on a jewelry business software program called Jewelry Designer Manager ™ from Bejeweled Software Company, I was very excited. As a jewelry designer, I am constantly looking for ways to keep track of my jewelry supplies, vendors, and customers' names and addresses.

While browsing through one of my favorite beading magazines, I came across an ad for Jewelry Designer Manager ™. I decided to check their website to see if their software was something that would help me accomplish all the things I needed help with.

Am I ever glad I did! They offer two different programs, the Professional, which costs $129.95, and the Standard, which costs $89.95. You can upgrade from Standard to Pro for $39.95 via e-mail or $49.95 via CD.

After reviewing the features of both versions, I decided to go with the Standard version. It seemed to have everything I was looking for, and it cost less. I have been extremely pleased with the program. It is so user friendly, too.

It allows me to keep track of supplies, determine prices on finished jewelry pieces based on costs and profit margins, and keep track of what I have in stock. It also maintains my vendor information and tracks all my customers and their purchases.

The program also allows you to print many different reports, such as

- vendor directory,
- customer sales slips,
- parts inventory,
- customer mailing labels, and much more.

Another aspect of Jewelry Designer Manager ™ that I find useful is the ability to print a jewelry catalog, customer mailing labels and customer sales slips.

If you purchase this software, you receive a CD with the program to load onto your computer. The User Guide and Instructions are also on that disk and have to be printed - about 49 pages.

I think this is a great program to help jewelry artists manage their businesses, and it's well worth the money I paid for it.

Jewelry Designer Manager ™ is for Microsoft Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT 4.0 and XP. It was designed by jewelry artist Barbara Carleton of Bejeweled Software Co.
