I Prefer Unique, Eclectic Jewelry

by Stephani
(Jefferson City, Missouri)

Most of the jewelry that I have ever bought has been handcrafted. Often this is because I have eclectic tastes, and it is hard to find mass-produced jewelry that I like.

For instance, I have a set of jewelry with tiny abaci on them, which I bought off eBay. Another example was some belly dancing jewelry I bought from a Renaissance fair.

I also buy handcrafted jewelry off websites like Etsy and from small independent stores in the town I live in.

Customized jewelry is also really neat, and I like delicate work that is hard to do in mass manufacturing.

I always appreciate artists who are willing to talk about the way they create their work as well.

Thank you Stephani for your comments. Although I'm not new to designing jewelry, I am new to marketing it online. So your comments are very helpful and encouraging. I value the opinions of customers who have an appreciation for unique handmade jewelry. I invite you to visit my Etsy shop www.labohemebijoux.etsy.com

Many thanks,

Thank you for taking the time to let jewelry designers know what you want, and that you appreciate our work! I make beach glass jewelry, and opened my first online store last fall. Since I have not had many sales, I am now researching what changes I can make to become more successful. I appreciate that you shared your thoughts with us!
