Lovely vintage mix three-strand necklace
My husband inherited his grandmother's vintage collection.
We spent hours going through it and finding ourselves inspired started creating jewelry together.
Most of our pieces are made from new components though we do design a few from vintage beads.
The journey toward handmade jewelry has brought us closer together as a family so it is only fitting that journey began with his grandmother's vintage collection.
Our inspiration comes from the classic elegance of those inspirational pieces.
We just love creating new jewelry with the look and feel of styles which never go out such as fresh water pearls and matching sets or glass beads which remain popular for the last fifty or so years.
Trends aside, what looks good today will still look good years from now. The strength and durability of handmade jewelry certainly makes it worth the effort.
Our children create their own jewelry and we know we're building a family tradition as well as a business.
We exchange handmade jewelry gifts at Christmas and birthdays. Once in awhile we give them to friends. It's amazing how much people enjoy receiving handmade jewelery.
Working together as a husband and wife team has helped us rediscover each other and ourselves.
We love making jewelry and it's worth all the miles travelled, hours and money put into it.
Thank you so much for reading.
