Hanging a Vinyl Banner

bungee Cords
by: Stef

To keep the banner from rolling, there are a couple options.

I taped a piece of PVC pipe to the bottom of my banner, which keeps it straight at the bottom and also adds some weight. Since you have grommets, you could use zip-ties to attach the PVC to the bottom instead.

For hanging, I use bungee cord. The framework of the cube should be sturdy enough to survive a light bungee cord holding your sign to it.

Good luck!

Snap ties!
by: Linda

Snap ties (aka zip ties) are my secret weapon to booth set up. I use some to attach my banner to the front of my booth. The ties slip through the grommets and attach to the framework. Be sure to take sturdy scissors or a box cutter to cut them off after the show. The tight snap ties hold things very securely.

If in addition to the grommets you also have a rod pocket on your banner like I do, you can slip an expanding curtain rod through the rod pocket and zip tie the curtain rod ends to the framework. The curtain rod provides more stability to the top of the banner. If you don't have a rod pocket, you could tape or velcro a long stick or dowel to the top to keep it from drooping.

Other uses for the snap ties: I snap tie my tent weights to the tent legs, snap tie my curtains (on curtain rods) to the inside of the tent, snap tie my adjoining tables to each other if I'm on unstable or sloped ground to make the tables less wobbly.

Great ideas. Where do you get your banners and approximately how much would then run?

just for fun

All the ideas above sound , great. As an extra-after hanging the banner, why not get some inexpensive white satin ribbon-white tole, and long silk faux flowers....And some other fun wedding stuff and create a sort of garland /collage.
white and silver draped, hang some of those cute little boxes that brides use for candy instead roses stuffed with
the bows taffeta that they have at Michael's, [cheap] 3 colors.... make it festive. your client/guest in your booth will, get the feel of a wedding hopefully, while she is with you.and, bows of taffeta and long ribbon swirled to the ground all in the same color theme, of this year.

Seems like it could be very cute, and help people feel good when they visit , as well as make your booth stand out.
just some ideas.... have fun best, shary

Hanging vinyl banner
by: Pam

I use thin nylon rope - got it at Lowe's, cut to proper lengths. Encircled ends before cutting, like the end of a shoe lace, to avoid fraying, which it sill otherwise. Top pieces go thru the grommets and up to the corners of the frame, bottom ones out to the bottom.

I would like to hear if anyone has a good way to attach banner to front of table, too. I have a fitted tablecloth.

Thanks for all your great ideas! Here are a few of mine...

Sticky Velcro to attach banner to table cloth.

I get my banners at OnlinePosterPrinting.com. I had a photo of one of my prettiest pieces blown up to 24x 36 and they did a fabulous job! It is a crystal piece shot on black. it was $40.98 including shipping.

I found these lights at Costco (for $14.99 for 3) that are supposed to mount under the cabinet and swivel anywhere you want them. I'm going to place them on the floor (behind tables of course) and shine them on my banner. My banner goes BEHIND me way up high. I tried this in my studio and it looked like the sign was lit! It made all the crystals totally stand out!
I can't wait to try it at the bridal show!
Thanks again!
Noelle
