If you can't make it to one of Dr. David Weiman's fantastic jewelry marketing seminars in person, here's the next best thing:

"The Jewelry Marketing Doctor" has put together a seminar for you to watch at home.

In his new DVD, CD, workbook, and transcript set The 5 Keys to Selling Handcrafted Jewelry, Dr. Weiman takes you in depth into the five most important aspects of selling handmade jewelry.

At the same time, he guides you through a workbook where you personalize these key elements to your own jewelry business.

The DVD, which runs about an hour and 15 minutes, was filmed during one of his live seminars.

For me, the highlights of this seminar were:

  • How do you know you're making the right products?

  • How to focus your marketing materials.

  • How to describe your jewelry to make it sell.

  • The psychology behind why we underprice our jewelry.

  • How to find the sweet spot between the piece of jewelry, its price, and the person buying it.

  • Making the jewelry you love to make, and then finding the right people for it.

  • How to set up a marketing schedule, planned out for the entire year.

Dr. Weiman is an excellent speaker. He's entertaining and easy to listen to, and you come away feeling psyched up about your jewelry business. You also come away with your own personal action plan (the completed workbook) for improving your jewelry sales.

I liked that you write your responses in the workbook as you watch the DVD. When it's time to fill in the next part of the workbook, the DVD asks you to pause it so you can take your time, and to click Play when you're ready to watch some more.

This set also includes a printed transcript of the entire seminar, which makes a handy resource for reviewing it quickly afterward, plus an audio CD of the seminar for listening to it in your car or while you make jewelry.

Unlike the people who attended the seminar in person, you can watch it (or listen to it) as often as you like, for a helpful "refresher course".

I highly recommend this at-home jewelry marketing seminar.
