Collecting email addresses from your customers is a great way to grow your jewelry business.
You have probably noticed that keeping a customer is a lot easier than finding a new customer. Especially online!

I have found that it's also easier to gain new customers in person at a show than it is online alone. So take advantage of the in-person shopping experience when you're selling at a show. Try to give your customers a little taste of your charming personality. Tell them all the things that you can do for them that set you apart (for example: customization, repairs, weddings, jewelry parties etc.). But one of the very most important things to do to turn a first-time customer into a long-time one is to get their contact info (email is best)! Of course it's important to give them your business card as well, but also if at all possible get THEIR contact info too!

Ways to Collect Customer Contact Info at Shows and Parties- Most people don't mind giving out their email address, so you can just simply ask them for their email at checkout.
- You can set out a book for customers to sign up for your emailed newsletter or sale updates.
- You can raffle off a piece of jewelry and require an email address on the entry form.

Once you've succeeded in collecting emails from your customers, you can keep them in the loop about your upcoming jewelry events or sales you have going on. Even if they only look at your email messages a few minutes before deleting them, it will keep your business name on their mind for future jewelry purchases. Good Luck!

Paige of Purely Paige says her favorite part of making jewelry is the joy she gets from being the one who created that "perfect piece" for a special occasion, gift, or the piece that someone loves to wear everyday.
