I have purchased handcrafted jewelry 3 times. All three were at an art fair.
The first 2 were in Columbus Ohio and were in 2 different years, but were from the same person. They were both necklaces.
It was very interesting to speak with the person who made them and to hear how she did it.
The third was also from an art fair, but in Fort Worth Texas. It was a bracelet, and again, it was interesting to speak with the creator and to not see multiples of the item I purchased.
I have looked at stuff on personal websites, however haven't purchased there. I like to see the items in person first.
All of these items were for my personal use.
Even though I have bought 3 times, I do have a hard time justifying the price. I did look for less expensive items.
