BelaDesigns Handmade Custom Jewelry

Several years ago I was surfing the net and came across Etsy.com. I noticed all the jewelry and saw it was all handmade.

I was so excited and thought I could do this. I went to Michaels, bought some beads and started making jewelry.

At first I sold it at work. Then as I got better at it and made alot more different designs, I started out for a few years as BelaDesigns Handmade One Of A Kind and listed my jewelry on Etsy.

I have been on Etsy since 2007. I really enjoy meeting other crafters it's so much fun. Actually, that is where I buy most of my supplies from.

I especially enjoy designing custom requests, it is a special compliment when you are asked to custom make a necklace, bracelet or earrings. I think that's the highest compliment because they are saying they loved your jewelry and they are trusting you to make them something they haven't seen yet.

I also don't mind if someone sees something they like in my Etsy store and would like something added to it or made a little differently. I aim to please my customers.

By the way when I first started on Etsy you had to choose a username. I love shabby chic designs but I couldn't use "shabby chic" because someone else had it. So I used shabby56, and that's how I got my user name. Have a good day!

Hope you enjoyed my story.
