Barefoot Sandals on Happy Feet
Jewels by Jan is a family jewelry business operating out of two locations - Des Moines, Iowa and San Diego, California. The 2 sisters - Jan & Pat - started handcrafting our beaded foot jewelry in September 2003 with a small number of barefoot sandal designs.
Together they created the trendy foot jewelry pattern incorporating a "medallion" in each style of sole-less shoes. Each sandal features a striking centerpiece that ties in with the unique bead patter forming a one-of-a-kind bottom-less foot adornment . When you see this medallion in a barefoot sandal design, you know you have a Jewels by Jan creation.
Our selection of beaded barefoot sandals and beaded bracelets has now expanded to include a variety of crystal and glass bracelets as well as barefoot sandals for children.
We continue to add new designs all the time and we have also increased our Destination Beach Wedding Collection to twelve designs for the trendy beach wedding bride.
Remember that in addition to offering our beautiful alternative-to-shoes for the bride, we also handcraft color-coordinated barefoot sandals for your bridesmaids and flower girl. Imagine your bridesmaids wearing our Seaside Splendor aqua barefoot sandals to match their dresses and the flower girl wearing a miniature version of our best-selling Hearts Desire bridal design. Now that's a stylish beach wedding!
If you've made the decision to celebrate the beginning of your lives together as husband and wife in a supremely romantic tropical surrounding, your wedding day attire will be an important detail.
Because we want your important day to be as special as possible - we've designed beautiful bottom-less barefoot sandals to complement your tasteful style and the bride's chosen color scheme.
Destination beach weddings continue to be a popular trend for couples worldwide.
While traditional, hometown church weddings are still the norm, thousands of couples each year choose to travel to a tropical location with their immediate family and closest of friends for an intimate ceremony on a beach. It speaks of romance and beautiful sunsets accompanied by warm, ocean breezes.
This type of wedding has an unmistakable romantic allure.
Beach wedding attire can range from casual to elegant but choosing the footwear for your ceremony in the sand becomes an important consideration. For the bride and her attendants, trying to balance in in the sand in heels or other types of footwear is not only impractical but also uncomfortable.
Some brides choose to wear flip flops adorned with crystals, pearls and bows. But nothing is more perfect for a beach wedding than Bridal Barefoot Sandals. Why not be barefoot so you can wiggle your toes in the sand as you walk?
You can enjoy the comfort of sole-less, beaded foot jewels adorning your feet like twinkling lights. Each pair of Jewels by Jan barefoot sandals is handcrafted in the USA with meticulous attention to detail.
Our sandals are available in 3 sizes corresponding to your shoe size (S,M,L) using durable, elastic cord and very tiny seed beads (for your comfort) on the toe portion of the sandal. Our original designs are created with beautiful glass beads from the Czech Republic as well as Swarovski Crystals and Swarovski Pearls.
Jewels by Jan Bridal Barefoot Sandals are one-of-a-kind and each lovely pair features a unique "medallion" that serves as the focal point of the design. Our handcrafted bridal collection is available in 12 lovely bridal designs - from casual to elegant.
We're working fast and furious on creating foot jewelry in some of the hottest new color combinations; hot pink & orange, navy & yellow and Tiffany blue and orange. Our new black & cream and the black & crystal designs for elegant, old-Hollywood wedding themes will also be featured on our web site within the next few weeks.
And don't forget that your little flower girl and your bridesmaids can wear barefoot sandals that match the color of their dresses.
For a destination beach wedding, you'll be accessorized from head to toe in sparkling barefoot sandals! They also make great bridesmaid gifts!
