This free ebook, a comprehensive "master’s course" about eBay selling, is called "Make Your Net Auction Sell". You can download it to read immediately, and I think you’ll find the information very useful. This ebook used to sell for $30, so for free it’s quite a bargain.

"Make Your Net Auction Sell" is in its second edition, which has been completely updated and outlines an interesting new strategy for building a strong, eBay-independent auction business. I recommend reading it all the way through before putting the information to use. There’s a lot of good stuff in here, and reading it a second time makes the big picture come together and the details fall into place.

Selling Handcrafted Jewelry on eBay

I also highly recommend Cheryl Coccaro’s ebook, "Easy Internet Selling". I bought it when she first published it. Cheryl knows the ins and outs of eBay, the nuances of creating good listings for your jewelry, and strategies for increasing your sales and profits. I had kind of dabbled in selling jewelry on eBay before, but after I read her book my eBay sales really went up. Cheryl gives especially great pointers on photos for your eBay listings.

Auction Sniping

An auction sniping service makes life easier when you bid on items. It places your auction bids for you at the last possible second, so you don’t even need to be present at your computer when the auction ends. You set your bid earlier in the auction, and the sniper places it for you at the last moment.

This strategy also saves you money since you don’t bid till the very end of the auction, so other bidders are less likely to jump in and drive the bid up.

Managing Multiple Auction Listings

If you list more than one auction at a time, you’ll quickly feel the need for some type of auction management software that streamlines your tasks.

These programs organize and track your auction inventory, provide you with quick and easy listing templates, post your listings to the auction site, sell via bids or Buy It Now, handle all sales transactions and communication, and host your images (photos).
